This is a growing collaborative compilation of academic books and articles, essays, personal memoirs, novels, documentaries, and other materials that provide a more accurate account of Singaporean history, society, and politics than is force-fed to us in schools and by the government and their state historians. Not all of these materials are easily accessed, so do get in touch if you would like us to try to source a copy for you. We have divided these materials into eight sections for easy navigation. Currently, the first section, “Political Repression” is the most detailled one. This list will never be complete and, thus, we welcome all and any suggestions.
